The Superior Rooms, created from the 18th century home of the Farmer, having undergone an excellent conservative restoration still have elegant frescoed decorations on the walls. The ancient terracotta floor retains its original appearance and the various shades of ochre and red make for a particularly warm atmosphere. Some rooms have a raftered ceiling, i.e. with exposed beams, that give a sense of natural spaciousness.
